Ladies join us for TIME OUT: a new fellowship opportunity for
TIME OUT is a new fellowship, mentoring opportunity for women at ACC.
TIME OUT is a chance to:
- Strengthen and deepen friendships through times of fellowship.
- Create an environment where mentoring and discipleship can happen naturally.
- Help women encourage one another as we strive to love our husbands,
raise our children and take care of our homes.
- Help women become better equipped in the task of preparing healthy and
nutritious homemade meals.

The Structure of TIME OUT will be organized much like a big play-date,
or casual social function. Women of all ages can come to fellowship
with one another. Each women that comes with children will be
responsible for her own children, like at a play-date. There will be
no organized childcare or nursery, but there will be different child
friendly stations set up around the room in the Fellowship Hall
downstairs. There will be lots of time to mingle and talk to one
another throughout the morning as the kids play.

Each TIME OUT will have a topic of the morning, and women will be
encouraged to talk about that morning's topic with others over a cup
of coffee or tea. This is specifically designed to help women mentor
each other, share ideas and tips, and encourage one another. Topics
may include issues related to marriage, training children,
housekeeping, and maintaining a personal relationship with God.

Each TIME OUT will also have a cooking demonstration. These food
demonstrations are designed to aid women in the never ending job of
providing for the needs of growing families. Food demonstrations will
be focused on sharing recipes and cooking tips that help us prepare
healthy and nutritious meals.
